Our Expertise

We do applications management, in which we undertake complete ownership of our customers’ applications at both ends — at the customers’ locations and remotely. This is done by stationing our engineers onsite and having a setup of dedicated teams and infrastructure, called Offshore Development Centers (ODCs), for our  customer base.

We provide services like day-to-day production support, addressing high priority problems, giving release support, and offloading lesser priority development and maintenance activities to ODCs. At onsite we interact closely with our customers’ functional managers, resource managers, release coordinators and ODCs to ensure total application support.

We offer application management services in technology segments like Object Oriented Technologies, Internet/E-Commerce, Client-Server, Mainframe for business domains comprising Financial Services, Workflow, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, ERP, Insurance, Retail Chain, Helpdesk, Information Services, Knowledge Management, Social Security System, amongst others.

Getting your Offshore Application support and Maintenance services on the right track is a mandatory requisite at Puma Technologies Technologies and many organizations view offshore solutions as undeniable added value. Puma Technologies Technologies offers remote services that are highly competitive when measured against those of the traditional service providers.

Moving your IT Application Maintenance needs to Puma Technologies Technologies’ offshore development sites is an obvious advantage for improving your company's dynamism in the market place, increasing productivity, and reducing your costs.

Our Market

Puma Technologies’s niche focus on Application support and Maintenance makes us thought-leader in AS&M space and thus any company willing to outtask it’s application management is potential market for us. Traditionally, in most organizations, applications support and maintenance has been grouped with application development and thus application support and maintenance cannot leverage benefits of offshoring, focused methodologies, tools and moreover different set of people having support as their culture. We at Puma Technologies offer AS&M services with people who demand best in AS&M, love being part of company that treats AS&M as its core business, with its own tools, methodologies and training.

We also see some of the software companies as our potential markets. Most of the software companies who does not have ODC’s( offshore development centers) for outtaskings their customers support needs can view us as potential partners. While they focus on customers development requirements we can “Keep the lights on” for their customers applications.

With a strong focus on process management, Puma Technologies's Business Management System(BMS) integrates business needs and industry best practices to deliver services that constantly improve:

  • Customer satisfaction

  • Quality of products and services

Puma Technologies's quality processes define process and services measurements that are used to monitor the quality of the services delivered and ensure continuous improvement.

The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) is used as a road map for our Software Processes Improvement. Processes are defined to facilitate implementation, review quality, track progress, measure performance and improve our quality assurance program.

Based on proven methodologies and industry best practices, Puma Technologies has a process framework (iPTSS) for effective service delivery to customers.

iPTSS is a holistic service delivery methodology for planning, managing, delivering and operating complex programs through specifically defined phases. The iPTSS methodology covers a broad range of activities and decisions, and structures those activities around quality gates and deliverables. It focuses on providing a long-term competitive advantage to our customers as the basis for a long-term relationship with them.
